Hyperx Cloud II Microphone issues

I got this headset for Christmas, and another one of my friends has it. On Teamspeak, everyone says that his microphone sounds better quality and mine sounds pretty poor, although it is the exact same microphone. Can I get some help please.

You might want to check the microphone plug. Unplug the microphone, and plug it back in to the PINK port, making sure to push it all the way in, which may take more force than expected.

The headset is a USB headset.

Also this happened which MAY be the problem with the microphone quality issue:
A month or two ago, my dad unplugged my PC and was working on it. When it was plugged back in, I could hear a static, buzzing crackling noise through my headset. I tried a different pair of headphones and they still had the crackling noise, so obviously it's a computer problem.

Are you sure that the USB headers are plugged in correctly?

That is not a USB headset, so that may be your problem
