I'm planning to buy the HyperX Cloud II, and I was wondering whether my ears would touch the driver walls of the earcans. Thanks!

Solution
well it all depends on the size and shape of your ears. For me, I have small to Average size ears and they don't touch the driver walls (which are padded if they do).

You can always buy a pair and return them if you do not like them, or they cause you discomfort.
In whole i highly recommend them, for their price, build quality and look they are awesome. As well as being comfortable for hours on end.Not to mention that they have good sound quality for a gaming headset

Hope this helps

Yeah I have the HyperX Cloud Core, but, despite really great reviews on comfort, I thought the earcans were really cramped and tight, as well as the fact that it felt really stuffy and hot. Also, my ears would touch the inside of the driver walls, and the inner material really made my ears itch. I tried my friend's Logitech G430, and I didn't have any of the above problems. Is there any difference between the HyperX Cloud Core and Cloud II, apart from the colour scheme and 7.1 Surround Sound?

From what know other then the colour difference the cloud two headset has the usb sound card and slightly diffent drivers, but build I think they are exactly the same (from what I have read/seen)

I have never found the clouds too hot, unless my room is really hot e.g. 28 degrees, but when my room is at normal temperature levels e.g. 20 degrees then its never a problem.
With the ears itching, I don't get any of that, but I also own a set of Sennheiser momentum 1's, that have considerably smaller ear cups for over ear headphones and do not have any problems with itching or hot ears. (maybe I just have small ears)

There are a lot of other great headsets out there, Logitech's new G633 Artemis Spectrum have some good reviews, while also providing the same sort of earcup size and style as the G430.

Solution
I went from the G35s (larger 430) to the Cloud IIs.
The cuffs on my IIs are actually slightly larger and fit me well, and I have always been told I have large ears. Part of the issue is adjusting the head band properly, something most people dont do. It is also worth noting there is a large difference between the felt and leatherette ear cuffs they give you.

Glad to see they fit you well.
