Since english is not my first language, I'll try to explain myself the best I can.
I have a brand new Gigabyte GA-B75M-HD3 motherboard and yesterday I bought 2 Hyperx Fury 8gb 1600mhz. When I installed them together, my PC would boot, but no image on my monitor whatsoever. I tried removing one and everything went back to normal. Then I tried each separate memory on each of the two memory slots and it still worked fine. So, if I plug the two of them together, no image. If I only use one of them, PC works fine. According to my motherboard's guide, it can handle up to 32gb 1600mhz RAM. Any ideas?

OOPS! right, you said that the timing knob was not functional.

Can you exchange your two sticks for a kit that will work?
1333 speed would be ok.
Even a 2 x4gb kit would give you dual channel operation
At the very least, return one stick.

Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards can be very sensitive to this.
That is why ram vendors will NOT support ram that is not bought in one kit.

I suggest you return the two sticks and buy a single 2 x 8gb kit.
It will cost slightly more because of the need to match the sticks.

If you can not return the sticks, see if there is an option on your motherboard bios to increase the ram voltage a bit. Sometimes that works.

CPU: i7 3770 (non k). Sticks did not came in a single package.
As you can see, the option to change DRAM is not enabled...

It only goes from Auto to Quick or Expert. When it does, it only highlights the last two options: Channel Interleaving and Rank Interleaving.

A B85 chipset motherboard will not have overclocking tuning knobs.
There is no guarantee that adding voltage would have done anything.
Why not try running at 1333 speed, perhaps that would work.
Performance will be better in dual channel mode.

If all else fails, 8gb is still usually sufficient.

How can I change that?
