So I have 16GB of HyperX Fury DDR4-2666 RAM (4x4GB) and they are always running around 1337MHz frequency, can this low speed negatively effect my gaming? If so how do I crank it up to the frequency of the DIMM's (2666MHz).

My Specs:
Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo Boost)
NZXT Kraken x61 CPU Cooler
ASUS Z170-Deluxe Motherboard
HyperX Fury 16GB DDR4-2666 RAM (4x4GB)
Evga Geforce GTX 970 4GB SSC ACX2.0+
2TB Western Digital Black HDD
128GB Samsung Pro Series SSD
Evga 850W 80+ Platinum Power Supply
NZXT Phantom 530 Full Tower (White)

Solution

to verify, install and run this

under the memory tab, whatever it gives you for frequency

multiply by two to get actual.
The speed of your ram is not the most important thing in the world. although I am sure you would see a few extra frames if you ran your ram at their advertised speed. the best way to do this is to go into your uefi and turn on XMP.
