Question HyperX Fury DDR4 OC?

Hi, i will soon buy Ryzen 3600 and B450 MBO (probably MSI B450-A PRO).
My question is should i buy new 2x8GB DDR4 3000Mhz RAM or try to OC mine Kingston FuryX 2x8GB DDR4 2133MHz?
Is it safe to do that? Is there a chance to get stable 3000MHz?

you cant oc memory, not in the traditional way.
memory that goes over base 2133MHz requires a specific XMP chip.
if the ram doesnt have that chip I.E is not advertised to go over 2133MHz its inprobable that youre going to be able to OC the RAM.

i would go for new RAM

Try as hard as I could and it wouldn't budge over 3600 Cl 16. It works great. It might go a bit over on 3800x I'm planning to get as soon as I get my mitts on it but for now not even a Hertz over or at lover CL. My test show very little gain over 3200MHz on 2700x.

Very small chances, 2133 to 3000 (2933) is too far to go.

Ok, tnx guys... i guess i can try and if don't work i can always buy new ram and sold this one...
BTW i will need help about that, i never OC RAM before...

Is G.SKILL Ripjaws V 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR4 3200MHz CL16 good choice for Ryzen 5 3600?
