HyperX fury & gigabyte gaming 5?

So I read somewhere that HyperX fury can be picky in which motherboard you run it with.
I'm looking to buy 16gb (2x8) of ram and I have a z97 gigabyte gaming 5 mobo.
Anyone have/had this combination before and does it work together?

I'm running it on a Z97 Pro Gamer.

It should run on the Gaming 5 it's great ram.
