I got this bundle. mobo, cpu and 1 stick of kingston hyperx fury ddr3. It is a 4gb stick HX318C10FR/4 is part number. I am looking to get an identical second stick so i can run dual channel. BUT when i look for the mem online, and search part number I find it and it is DIMM. my mem is 4gb DDR3 -1866 CL10 240 - pin UDIMM. I know you can not run dimm and udimm on the same board. For the life of me... I can not find any UDIMM.. I can find exact match but it is dimm. I cant figure this out. not even Kingston will answer my email on this! This memory was purchased in a bundle from tigardirect. Even they dont sell it... wt#.. lol

Solution
If same model #, it's the same thing, some sellers advertise as UDIMM (the U standing for Unbuffered), others might actually say unbuffered, others may not even mention it, but the Fury is the Fury

ok so.. even though this memory I have says UDIMM and the exact same memory that is available through tigar, new egg, etc says DIMM... its the same? I understand buffered unbuffered but these clearly say HX318C10FR/4 UDIMM and the same memory (by mod number) says HX318C10FR/4 DIMM. On the Kingston site, they do not sell 4gb UDIMM. They sell 4gb DIMM . they do sell 8gb UDIMM. I read that DIMM vs UDIMM on same board is ABSOLUTELY not compatible. Your opinion is greatly appreciated
