I can see myself picking up the purple one, when it becomes available..

I'm getting 90s iMac vibes from this design.

I could see this being successful if the rounding were a bit less extreme and the shades of green and purple were more vibrant.

Thats what i was thinking, and the colored plastic cases from the early to mid 2000's. Modern cases and components are pretty boring relatively speaking, they now just throw RGB on it and call it a day.

IMO, it looks more like a 1950~1960's era fridge compared to a G4. (I approve of both)
