I accidentally created a Raid 1 on my HDD can I recover my data?

I was updating my drivers and and when I restarted my computer, my HDD wasn't being recognized by my PC. When I looked at disk management a message popped up saying I needed to initialized my drive. Idiotically enough I paid no mind to it and pressed okay. Now my Hard Drive is unallocated in two partitions. When I looked at the properties its said that is in Intel Raid 1. Looks like when I installed Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver it made my D Drive into a Raid 1. Is there any way to recover my data?

This sounds bad. Did you have anything on it you absolutely can't lose? I would clone the disk before you try anything. Don't leave it plugged into your PC in the OS with the raid, you don't want any writes to it. As long as you don't write over your old data it could be recoverable. If the data is very valuable you can send off your hdd to places that will do this for you. I searched for data repair links. You might be able to find some newer articles. I'm sure there will be some free ones that you can use easily from a bootable OS from USB.

Honestly thank you for the links and advice! I actually just did a system point restore and everything was fixed! I'm an idiot for not thinking of doing that first. Thank you so much for your help. I hope you have a great day!
