I accidentally replaced my entired OS X harddrive with Ubuntu

I have a backup hard drive of my OS luckily, how do I go about fixing this?

That will depend upon the method used to make the backup. If done via Windows just restore accordingly via the back media. I you used imaging software, then use the software to restore the image.

I will restate

That will depend upon the method used to make the backup. If done via [OS / OS Utility i.e. Time Machine] just restore accordingly via the backup media . If you used imaging software, then use the same software to restore the image.
