I accidently cleaned my secondary Hard drive during Dsk Part Cleaning

So my setup has been running my bios off my SSD, which is a kingston 240 gig device, and having all my other files run on my old 1T hard drive. All my games, photos, stuff like that. In the process of trying to clean a flash drive I accidentally cleaned my hard drive. After this point it does not show up detected in the "My Computer" tab. I was able to use some software to locate ALL the files, but I don't seem to understand one thing in particular. To recover all my old files, I need the space of my old hard drive, but I can't seem to access my old hard drive without reformatting and assigning disk allocation to it. Will formatting it completely wipe all the previous data in it? How do I recover it all? Please and thank you in advance.

This is why, with every instruction set that talks about diskpart....It says "Be very careful, and be absolutely sure of which drive or partition you are accessing".
