[SOLVED] i accidently format my encypted hard drive

Solution
are you serious? ( i have the swf files recovered, they must be my files, can not i open them?

Yes, I am 100% serious.

That they are labeled as swf is meaningless.
You can't reconstruct those out into .txt, .mp3, .dll, .exe, .WHATEVER.
They are simply file fragments.

An encrypted volume needs 100% of the entire thing. 1 bit off, and it is corrupt and useless.

This is what backups are for.

Formatted an encrypted drive?

That data is gone gone gone.

What you've "recovered" is absolutely useless as far as actual files are concerned.
You have a whole bunch of file fragments.
