I embarssingly pulled out the GPU without unlatching it. Basically one side came off fairly easy and then the other side didn't so I unlatched it came off; I did this twice since I was troubleshooting with my GPU. Since doing this minutes ago, the computer works fine. I'm wondering if this is bad for the future of my computer and If I need to replace anything ASAP and if so not use my computer in the mean time.

MOBO: B450 Tomahawk
GPU: MSI Ventus 2x 3060 Ti

CPU:
R5 5600X
RAM: 8x2 Corsair Vengence
PSU: Rosewill Glacier 700W

edit: PSU said "Corsair 700W"

Front pins on the fan side look rough but otherwise everything else looks OK. As long as the MB socket is tight, I'd think you're OK. Stop taking it in and out though at this point, the pins do show signs of wear as mentioned.

Once you put it back in leave it in.

That PSU seems to be of concern to me. Model for that unit(as 700W is the advertised wattage)? To answer your primary question, if the latch isn't broken and you're not seeing an anomaly with your platform, leave it as is. Please add an image of the PCIe slot in question alongside the latch that you say you didn't push down before removing the discrete GPU.

It doesn’t wiggle at all when I don’t screw the screws in. My PSU is actually a Rosewill Glacier 700M. Here are some photos of the GPU and the slot. View: https://imgur.com/gallery/cjSp3FX

The GPU is refurbished, so that may also be why.

If you are concerned about the pins, one thing you could likely try is what a tech from Hawaii once told me since they get a lot of salt due to being surrounded by salt water. Which was try some gold cleaner like you'd use on rings etc. Maybe just put a little on the pins, let it sit 20 minutes or so, long enough to fully dry out and reinstall. But if the card works, sounds like you dodged a bullet so leave it alone.
