Specs:
ASUS ROG Strix B350 Gaming motherboard
Corsair LPX Vengeance 16GB
Silicon Power 256GB SSD
Seagate 2TB HDD
Sapphire RX 580 8GB GPU
Ryzen 7 1700X
EVGA 850W modular PSU
Newer build from August. I can play games or whatever for hours with no issues. The issue happens when the system is at idle for several hours (usually 6 or more), it tends to crash to the BIOS screen. No log file either. I have never actually witness it happening, i'll just wake up or whatever and it will be on the BIOS screen and I have to hold the power to shut down and then start it back up and it's fine from that point until it happens again. No bent pins, memory tests ran fine, no overheating, no overclocking, all power saving garbage is turned off both in BIOS and Windows (10). I even removed all USB drives. Thoughts?
One other thing, when i turn the system on, my SSD with the OS doesn't show up in the BIOS, yet the system boots like normal and obviously appears in Windows. What's up with that?
I can not get a straight answer on this. I have been struggling to find out since I built this. I usually just power down anyways when not in use, but sometimes I will have to download that game from Steam or Origin which can take several hours.
