1. I have a budget of $1500 CAD after tax
2. I will be using it for minecraft (modded and vanilla) as well as some very laggy steam games (ex. Kerbel Space Program)
3. I can only buy from Canadian retailers because of duty fees
4. I would like to over clock
5. I am planning to run a SSD boot/OS disk and an HDD storage drive
6. I intend to run windows 8 pro
7. I have a parts list here it is
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair H60 54.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock Z97 PRO3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Storage: Kingston Fury 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive and Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 960 2GB FTW ACX 2.0+ Video Card
Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer (don't care about this one, just for some CD's I have and OS install maybe an occasional movie)
Wireless Network Adapter: Asus PCE-N15 802.11b/g/n PCI-Express x1 Wi-Fi Adapter
Monitor: Dell D2015H 60Hz 19.5" Monitor
It is already over budget here is the list with prices http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/jxbCkL . Please help I already have cheated the video card so any advice is greatly appreciated

Thanks

So some tweaks I would do would be putting a 2x4gb kit to make use of Dual Channel memory. Another one would be to get rid of the H60 and put in an air cooler. Any liquid cooler below $110 can easily be beaten by an $80 air cooler. So yeah.. Use an air cooler. Plus it is less noisy and technically more reliable.

That SSD needs to be changed. It is really not that great. I changed it to the BX100.

I put in the 280x because it is cheaper by $25, performance way better than the 960, and has one more GB of VRAM for the future.

Thank you so much this is very helpful and it is still a little bit over budget because of tax and the low likely hood of me using rebates so is there anything i can get a cheaper one?

Get a cooler later. You are going to need to compensate on the case. PC Part Picker says that the GPU won't fit. It is very very wrong and I will link a picture as to why

Looks good thank you
