I am new to pc gaming and I am building my first rig. I need an opinion from someone who knows what they are doing. I will mostly be playing first person shooters, survival horror games, and older (10+ years) games. I want to be able to play any game on at least high settings. Here are my potential system specs:

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core

Graphics Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P ATX AM3+/AM3

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600

Storage Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM

Power Supply: CoolMax 500W ATX

Operating System Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

What's your budget? You'll be able to play older games (4 years old+) on Ultra/High, but when it comes to new games like Battlefield 4 or Crysis 3 you've no chance
