I am building a gaming computer (Diablo 3) for hopefully 550 or less but have looked at some 600+ builds for improved performance(obviously considering my build is . I do not plan to overclock my system. I want to run ultra high settings without any sluggishness. I have never build my own PC before, but have taken mine apart numerous times to clean it and just to put it back together. I want a pc with the most bang for my buck. If anyone has any insight or plays D3 to the max with their own PC of a good combo is components to use please let me know. I have been looking into my options for this build through forums on here already. MY main goal is to build a great PC for what i need and enjoy my games to the full extent.(only other games i play AoE1/2/3, D1/D2, SC1/2, so mostly older PC games).
Thanks ahead of time for everyone who can help me out. Tweaking what i have or starting from scratch for the build works for me. I Am not extremely knowledgeable about all this but i have been and am still learning.

CPU-Based off what ive heard from here an intel CPU would be my best bet for the Diablo 3 and SC 2 games,
Also i plan to run Windows 7. I have a monitor, mouse and keyboard.
GPU-As far as GPU's are concerned would i be better off with a NVDIA or ATI/AMD?(or is there not much of a difference)
Mobo-I do not need a mobo good for overclocking as i have no plans to overclock my system. i feel like 16GB of RAM would be enough for what i play, however the option of 32GB gives me room for upgrades in the future it i want though i have no plans to atm. So i'm open to either amt of space.
CPU cooler-For what i plan to do and the components i had thought about getting i was unsure if i'd need a CPU cooler. If it would make my system run significantly more efficiently i'd be open to adding it otherwise i had planned to save the money on that.
Overall-Want a Quality PC that is quiet, fast, and powerful.

So this is what i have come up with on my own.

Do you live near a micro center?
If you are going amd go for the fx-6300 or 8320. the 8350 is not worth it.
For intel go for the i5-4670k or the i5-4570. both are great choices and all of these will suit diablo 3.
The most important factor is the graphics card. For diablo a very nice graphics card is not needed. It might be good to buy a nice one now, or a good used one.
The gtx 760 is a nice newer card, or the 750 ti for power and size constraints. Maybe the 660.
Any reliable motherboard is good, but around a 80-100 is a good spot. Maybe less for your situation. Unless you want to overclock.
A 1tb hdd at 7200rpm 64 cache is good enough for most storage at around 60. You can find a nice 120 gb ssd for fast boots for around 80 also.
Any power supply 80 plus bronze that is well reviewed like the xfx-550 or the cx500 is nice for one graphics card.
ram is ram. Any ddr3-1333 with a good voltage is fine. 8 gigabytes is nice, but 16 is overkill unless you're editing a ton. Your voltage is too high.
looks pretty good. Just remember that the case is personal preference and air cooling with cable management. A cpu cooler is needed for overclocking amd or just amd in general. Intels are fine without one. Case fans are nice but not always needed. Any more questions feel free to ask. I would check craigslist for any in box parts that can't be returned or misordered parts.

I do not think i live near one. I live in Eastern North Carolina.
Why the change to the CPU?
From what ive seen the 4440 is close to the performance of the 4670k with less of a price tag...
I do not plan to overclock.
Im just really stuck on what Mobo would be best so i dont bottleneck my GPU
