Can you tell me if these components will work together?

Thank you so much,
Larkin

What is the computer going to be used for?
The motherboard is not compatible with the cpu as mentioned.
That rx550 says gaming, but don't plan on it.
Your ram while compatible is not as fast as it could be for the price, you'll want 3600Mhz or better.

No. The Z170 series motherboards only support the 6th and 7th Gen Intel processors. You want to be looking at B460 or Z490/Z590 motherboards.

Thank you very very much for your help. How about - ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WiFi 6 LGA 1200 (Intel 11th/10th Gen) ATX Gaming Motherboard for 259.99 and changing the ram to - G.SKILL Trident Z Neo (for AMD Ryzen) Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin RGB DDR4 SDRAM 3600mhZ?
Would this work?
Thank you again,
Larkin

If you wait a little longer, you'll be able to get an i7-11700(K(F)) which gets you PCIe 4.0x16 for a future more decent GPU and 4.0x4 if you ever decide to get an NVMe SSD. You may not need those today but you may find yourself wishing you had them 2-3 years down the road.

That would work just fine, but as @InvalidError states, you could also go with the 11th gen Intel Core I-series processors.
ASUS TUF Gaming Z590-Plus WiFi - CPU Support List

No issues with G.Skill Trident Z Neo RAM.

Someone said that the Video card "ASRock Phantom Gaming Radeon RX 550" I had picked wasn't much good.
Can you suggest a better video card that would be compatible for around $150.00?
a used 1050 ti maybe, the market sucks right now, normally I would recommend something with 2060 level preformance or better for that cpu.
