I am confused. Can I use a DVI-D Single Link Graphics card and connect it to a Dual Link DVI 144Hz Monitor?

Hello guys. I am going to purchase a 144Hz monitor (Linked below) that has a dual link DVI-D connection. I have 2 DVI-D Single Link connections on my graphics card. I want to know I can get a DVI-D Single link cable and then connect it to the Dual Link DVI-D on the monitor (linked below). Apparently dual link is essential for 120Hz + monitors but my graphics card has 2 Single link DVI ports? Thanks for the help guys and the links are below for the products and I appreciate your time as always.

Those are two dual link slots on the card, the pin count is higher than a single link. A dual link cable should work fine. Besides, there aren't many single link DVI connectors on modern graphics cards. They're pretty much all dual link or not there at all.

Theoretically, if they were single link, then you could use a single link cable (not the one that came with the monitor because as a dual link, it has too many pins, unless the slots were only electrically single link), but it would not function for 120Hz, let alone 144Hz.
