Instead I get a box version and this version

I'm not sure what you're talking about. Both of those are the i7-8700K.

Ok so when building my pc in part picker you can also see from items that will be compatible. Will everything that works with the one you showed me work with the one I showed you? I’m asking because one says hexa core I am a scrub lol
