I am getting mad

hey i have a microtek ups

its works fine
but today everthing was as usual

ups was glowing with green blinking light means it was charging as ever
when i switched it on it turned red that happens when no power supply is there to supply the ups but everything was fine i tired again and again i checked even my house electric board to check voltage but everthing was fine
still when i turn it off it starts charging with green light when i switch it on it turns red


what is the probleam please help

is it over heated

That should mean it's not likely a battery issue.
Have you checked the manual for a troubleshooting hint about what could be causing the red light?

Any issues with your AC input power?

no ups plug is connected to a circuit board it is working f9(the switch)

today is very hot i think it is over heated
and the power supply from the ciruit board is always on

Is the local temp outside the operating limits of the UPS?
That should be listed in the manual.

You could also be getting 'brownouts' and an issue with your AC voltage might cause the red light on the UPS.

the metal below the ups was very much heated i had kept it on a rest lol

it is cooled now

but i switched on the ups

without any connections with pc componets just i connected it to the circuit board and switched it on it is not turning red

That metal base might have been trapping heat and pushing the UPS beyond it's limit.
Try some alternate arrangements for the UPS base that permits better airflow.
