I am getting these undefined google chrome notifications and they are making me nervous as I know that they are a symptom of some sort of malware. And my default boot has been changed to cmd so I have to type explorer.exe whenever I log in. I have scanned my PC with Malwarebytes and AdwCleaner but they found issues only the first time I ran the scan but now the undefined message is back and after running scans again both programs report nothing : ( Is there a way to get to the source of these messages?

Any help is much appreciated, thank you.

Open Task Manager and look in the Startup tab.

Check that all of the programs being launched at start are, indeed, programs that you want to have started.

Also take a look in the hosts file. Reference link:

There may have been some modification to the hosts file; look for the problem URL there.

No need to immediately edit or change things. Do some additional research and post accordingly.
