i have put together a custom unit incl., ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0, AMD FX6300 and 8GB of G.Skill. My SSD is an OCZ Arc100 and as I attempt to install Win 8.1 I get a message that says "we couldn't find any drives". I tried putting the MoBo drivers on a flash drive to be able to load them during set up, but it says "no signed device drivers found, make sure correct media .......(something)" anyway, I just wanted to see if any body could help, my tech level is very low and was pretty proud of myself for just getting it together and to post. but Win8.1 is being troublesome.

What were you jerking around with them drivers on a stick? To install windows you need nothing, absolutely nothing but the installation media and somewhere to install it to. Everything should be done completely automatically. There is something you haven't done right when putting it together. Either you poked around in there with the finese of a polar bear and broke something or you forgot to plug in a cable.
