I am in UK upgraded to Windows 10 [on day of release]. I am 44, yet Cortana says "You're not old enough to use Cortana" ?

Are you perhaps logged into a Microsoft account belonging to somebody who is underage? Don't suppose you've reached out to Microsoft about this particular problem? Haven't heard of it myself, so I'm curious to see what it's all about.

Thx so much 4 yr interest. I'm embarrassed to admit that as I'm a 'privacy freak' I don't like giving Microsoft, Google etc too much info about myself. Therefore when I set up my Outlook account in 2011 I had told it I was born in 2010 [as a 'joke'] and then forgotten that when I updated to Windows 10...Ooops, my bad

Ah, well, that explains it! I admit I've done things like that myself in the past, but mostly because I was actually underage and had to get around those requirements, not the other way around! :lol:

In any case, glad you've got that sorted out!
