I am Looking for a 200 dollar SSD

I am looking for a 200 dollar SSD, something at least 120 gigs. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.


I was thinking of going with the Samsung 830. but a friend told me to go corsair.

I also have a dumb question, i have a FX 8120, if i were to go with the Intel SSD would i run into any issues?


Also, i have a internal 750 gb hard drive, when i get the SSD should i turn it into a RAID 0?

Antec Kuhler 620
Apevia Beast Power 680w
16GB of Ripjaw X series ram
Power Cooler HD 6950 2 GB changed to a 6970
WD 750 GB Hard Drive
WD 2 TB Hard Drive


At this point i think my Hard Drive speed is my bottle neck

I am Hoping w/ a SSD i will see speed increases when loading. Particularly when i play Star wars: The Old Republic.

An Intel drive will work fine with a AMD system. You set the SSD as your boot drive and your HDD's as storage no raid setup just both in ACHI mode.
