I am missing a pci-e modular cable

I have a ocz modstrea 600w psu. i lost the 6 pin pci e modular cable.

Do you think i can use this silverstone modular cable?

Most cables are interchangeable. Being that OCZ is no longer in business you have few other options. Is your current OCZ modular so you can swap em out? If so yupper!

WIth an OCZ PSU that will be tougher. Shouldn't they only need to be the same rating able to carry the same voltage/wattage? There are a lot of people that thread their own PSU cables ensuring the above conditions, so that they may sleeve it with the colours they want.

I will agree that it is better if he can find an OCZ cable absolutely, be it from a vendor or another source, but what if he has no other options and can't afford another CPU. I suppose he could buy an adapter and connected via a molex or something.

Nope. The chances of them being wired the same on the PSU side are low, you might end up with a short between 12V and ground which will kill the PSU.

Order a cable explicitly made for the PSU that you have.
