I am not receiving any Windows 10 insider updates

I signed up for Windows 10 insider 6 hours ago, and I am not receiving any updates related to the Windows 10 insider. Why is this happening? I signed up for the slow ring so that I can get more stable versions than the fast ring.

The slow ring gets updates after the fast ring and other tiers. you would only get the updates that are close to release. Not likely that you would get any updates for a while.

usually takes a day or so after you sign up before you get a release

whether you do fast or slow
