Hi been playing lineage for a few months and love it!
I have been thinking of trying WOW and have few questions before laydown $50
bucks.
1.What are the differences between lin2 and wow <gameplay> not graphics.
2.those who played both which one is better why?
3.How are the servers population ect.
4.Technical how does the game run disconnects slowdowns ect <big problem
with lin2 in the last few weeks>
Thanks

WoW has depth and char. Gameplay actually gets deeper as you level,
and you level as a function of PLAYING the game. Lineage 2 has the
worst exp grind of any game ever made - even FFXI and that is saying a
LOT.

Don't even put them in the same sentence. This is absolutely NO
competition here. Lineage is one of the worst MMORPGs ever made. It
has ZERO depth and the only thing to do is grind levels so you can
compete against other players. WoW is FUN, has depth and you can still
compete against the other faction on PVP servers (even to some degree
on non-PVP servers)

Anyone that complains about WoW players being a bunch of kids, has
never tried Lineage 2. WoW players are usually helpful and willing to
assist. Not to mention that with quests everyone in the group actually
gets credit for kills, unlike Lineage 2.

No problem in WoW for me. Some servers are overloaded, but they are
working on getting more servers up (currently have 600k+ subscribers).

Good luck on finding a copy of the game, because currently they aren't
releasing any new boxes until they add more servers.

Guess that's counting the korean multiboxers item dupers macro
exploiters.
I played it for a week, couldn't stand it.
May I suggest City of Heroes too? The most fun MMORPG I've ever
played, and I've played most of them

Uh oh heh
Well, there's this little thing about new archetypes with many
powerpools (only available if you have a char at 50), and they added
prestige power pools for characters over 30 or so, difficulty sliders
for missions, new villain groups and zones... that was last update,
dunno if you were there for the previous update where they added the
respec trial, capes, auras, the mentor system, etc.

weird Lineage II is the most mmorpg played at this moment. (It was before
WoW at least).

I played CoH a while back. Actually got a Ice-Ice Blaster to 50. There
didn't seem like much to do after that. Same problem all mmorpg's have that
aren't implementing PvP.

Anyway, WoW is getting stale for me now. I really did love ALOT about CoH. I
got rid of my 50 so if I came back I would be a buck-private in the Hero
army.

Anything interesting been added to CoH that would make the climb back up the
ladder more fun than the first time?

thanks.

Got rid of as in deleted? Too bad. There are currently two new
"classes" open to those that have a level 50 character.

Actually, I sold it through a online site that does that kind of thing. I
know, I know, I feel dirty for doing it.
