Question I am sad I bought a 3060 :(

I feel bad that I bought a 3060 GPU pre built gaming desktop. What do you guys think? Is the desktop below a good deal? I bought it for $1180 total.

I would return it and get a deal from Dell. Right now they have builds there is a 8 core and a 6700xt 12gb for 1250$ great deal. If u want a 3070 or 3060 ti price stRts around $1500. Spend little more and get what u really want. Oh yea all of these builds come with 500 watt or higher psu. If your sad about the 3060 u will hate how the 5600g ages. That would hold u back with any higher cards.

Not really. Higher end cards are designed for higher resolutions, and the higher the resolution, the less dependence on the cpu. A 5600G would have Zero issues pushing a 3090 at 8k @ 30Hz or even 8k @ 60Hz.

The only time a 5600G is going to be an issue is with lower resolutions and higher fps demand during higher intensity AAA titles. It doesn't really make any difference, other to than a benchmark, if you have a 144Hz monitor if the 5600G gets 200fps or a 12900k gets 300fps. The picture you see is going to be the same.

How many people run rtx 3080/3090 with a 5600g. Also that 6700xt kills that 3060. A amd 5800 and 6700xt pair like meat and fine wine. They have a sweet bonus with the smart memory buff.
