I have a RTX 2080 from EVGA the XC variant. I put the hybrid watercooling aio on it and I have loved it for the almost 3 years I have had it. I just ordered a 12gb 3080 FTW3 from EVGA and I am super pumped. Spent damn near $1500 but it was at MSRP and just shy of the 3080ti by about 70 "texture fill rate" which I dont even know what that means... I am going to run benchmarks out the yang asap on this card because that 3080 is being overnight-ed, not sure if that means on Tuesday ill get it or what but Im crapping my pants. I have a question, is the 12GB of the 3080 or the 3080ti better? Whats the difference?

The 3080 Ti is a little better than the 3080 12 GB, which is slightly better than the 3080 10 GB version. you'll be happy with the performance (assuming running at least 1440p or 4K and not 1080p).
yeah im going back to 4k... im running my games currently on a 1440p 165 msi optix... i figure Ill go back to the 4k acer pred monitor I have in my closet or maybe swing for a 144hz 4k pannel. I dont know if itll be able to push the pixels

So, I have had that GPU for a while... It was great stock cooler... I had a slight OC on it and it ran cool (mid 70's under load) but was loudish with the fans cranked on the cooler to 100%. I just watercooled using Alphacool Eisewolf and its MUCH better. Bumped the OC a bit, have low noise from the fans and temps under load are low 60's, even lower by a bit if again i crank the fans on the rad but not needed. Super happy with the results
