I want to upgrade to a Powercolor 5700 XT Red Devil GPU a new Mobo not sure which and Ryzen 7 3700x Cpu. Would i need to upgrade my Psu?

Yes, I would upgrade that PSU, as it is not exactly a high quality unit to begin with.

Hmm, if you buy another power supply, some ram, a cheap chassis, and cheap storage you have a whole computer.

You can technically drop a 3rd gen chip in that motherboard. Though I can see why you wouldn't want to. (You can always add some heatsinks to the VRMs)

I wouldn't. Even if Powercolor didn't recommend a 700w unit, which they do, that EVGA 600w unit is not of good and reliable quality, unlike the rest of your system which is. It's like putting dollar store shoes with an expensive tuxedo. It might "work", but there will likely be problems and the PSU for sure isn't going to last very long.

I wouldn't risk it. To be sure, what is the EXACT model of the PSU. EVGA has several 600w models and none of them are particularly good, some are even quite bad, but let's be sure. Regardless the capacity is below the recommended wattage.

I suspect something like an EVGA 600b, and in that case I agree with Darkbreeze that I would upgrade the PSU.

What kind of a Motherboard would you guys recommend for that GPU and CPU? And also what PSU?

The EVGA 600BQ is an OK PSU.
It will probably work fine with an RX5700xt, but I wouldn't personally risk it as the BQ lineup is really designed for entry-level systems.

For what I would change.

1. Update motherboards BIOS to the latest revision. This will add support for the 3700x. Your motherboard is not great, but the 3700x consumes much less power than a 2700x, so your motherboard should be up to the task.
2. Buy a 3700x and 5700xt, an excellent combination.

BTW, Darkbreeze the EVGA GQ 2019 models come in 600w. It makes me want a proper review even more.

If you can spare enough money to buy an X570 motherboard, I would go that way to deal less with BIOS updates.

Also you gain PCIE4, which all B450s lack.
