I have windows XP And I am pretty sure It will support both, If not tell me. If you need more info do the same.

AMD Athlon™ LE-1620
(Operates at 2.4GHz, 1024KB L2 cache and 2000MHz)

Or

AMD Athlon X2 BE-2400
( 2.3GHz 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Dual-Core Processor )

Oh well that's good its already in there, any way to cool it off with out a new fan, or any way to make AMD anthon run faster?

If you get a good heat sink you can cool it off and overclock it to get more out of it. I don’t know of any way to cool it down without a fan.
Here are 2 good cheap am2 heat sinks:

Actually the BE and LE are same generation chips, thus the similar naming scheme, the difference is the LE is single core and the BE is dual.

To cool the CPU, you could try applying new thermal paste and cleaning the case, repositioning fans to improve airflow and cleaning the system.

Finally the way to make it faster is to Overclock, if your mobo supports it, which is to increase the frequency (GHz) of the CPU, goto the Overclocking section to read some really helpful guides.

The thing about GHz is, when two CPUs are of the same design and number of cores, the one with a higher GHz will perform better, but they must be the same. As your CPU @2.3GHZ performs better than a P4 @3.2 Ghz.
Well I have a dual fan on it that is attached With screws that I feel uncomfortable moving. A back fan and a fan near the PCI Slots I just cleaned All I am missing is a side fan and some liquid nitrogen.... It seems no matter how hard I try it won't stay low on the Task manager reading, also over clock? Can you give me a how to or a link on it.

It's not store bought it was put together with parts from NewEgg pretty much

Perfect you should be able to overclock with no trouble but I would upgrade to a new heat sink and spend $5 on some thermal compound like OCZ Freeze or Arctic Silver 5. If your system is running cool right now you may be able to slightly overclock it without worrying about having heat issues but to gain more from it, it needs good cooling.

*Is your heat sink stock or is it aftermarket?

I am not sure I am pretty sure its aftermakert. Its part of a set with the dual fan and its a Huge box that takes up alot of space it was bought separately from newegg. It "coolmaster" I think.

whoops, typo. but any BE-2XXX is multi locked.

From the looks of your cooler its after market for sure. Any cooler that doesn't use the plastic clip thingy isn't stock.
Can I know your Motherboard model though?
Gigabyte S Series with Nevada Geforce Ver. 1.3

Yea the AMD's did burn faster; but I can't afford a Intel right now!
