[SOLVED] I am trying to factory reset my PC but it just gets stuck at either 1% or 100%

So my PC has been having incredibly high cpu usage (sometimes up to 40% idling) so I decided I would factory reset it, but every time I try to it does not work. I have done a malwarebytes scan and nothing popped up, If anyone knows how to fix this that would be great and also feel free to ask any questions about my specs if you need them. Thanks.

The process takes a while. I would suggest you to wait for a couple of hours and get back to us if it remains stuck, and doesn't proceed.

This mostly happens when you choose to remove all your personal files while while factory reset.

Really, it just makes more sense to do a full wipe-and-reinstall using Windows media on a flash drive rather than using options within Windows.

I left it for almost 2 hours and it did nothing so im just gonna try and use windows media. Thanks.

Okay so it worked and was actually super easy, now my computer is running so much better and its awesome!

Good news! Just doing the full wipe from startup is usually the way to go and I'm happy to see it resolved your issue.
