do you get any lights on the motherboard? is the power switch wired correctly? is the switch on back of the power supply flipped?

You have give us ZERO information to work with. What parts are you using? We need more info.

We need more info.[/quotemsg The motherboard has a red light that is on, I am using a rosewill challenger case and an Area 51 motherboard. I do not know if the front panel wires are correctly connected to the motherboard or if I do not have the psu installed properly

If any of the things that you mentioned or anything in general is not plugged in "correctly" then yes it wont probably turn on. Best idea? take it all apart slowly and if you notice where you went wrong before you get to the end when all your hardware and components are arranged around you then great 😀
