I am trying to play music from USB through fm transmitter/MP3 player in my car but could not succeeded. FM transmitter works with the iphone but not with the usb. I tried different ways to connect the USB. Can any one help me out.

format your USB drive FAT32 before copying files to it should solve the problem

As Vincent said, try format your USB thumb drive using the FAT32, just make sure to back up all the data you have on that USB, if it works great, if it didn't, it could be something wrong with the USB port in the FM transmitter.
