Question I am unable to download java.

I have tried to download Java for hours and nothing I have done has let me. every time I try and install Java i get a specific error just after pressing install

It seems to be a common issue. I just did a little research and it appears there's 2 possible solutions:

#1. Download an older version first and install it. Then try updating to the latest version.

#2. Create a new Windows account and install it there.

Thank you so much! after following the steps IT WORKED! for some reason i needed to create a new windows account and download it onto that but IT WORKED!

I may not have a clear understanding of what you mentioned above about the other account creation. If you are set up as a standard user instead of admin it may not be allowing you to install without the elevated privileges.

Yes, I set up an account that had administrator privileges.
