I am updating the bios of my motherboard (GA-H55M-D2H)

I am updating my bios because I am installing 8gb of ram. Then an error says "The program or feature \??\C:Users\(My Username)\Desktop\mb_bios_ga-h55m-d2h_f4.exe\ cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit version of Windows compatible version is available." It would be great help if you guys could get a solution.

Gigabyte uses a self-extracting .exe file that you need to run first in order to decompress the downloaded file. When you run the file be prepared to have a place where you want it extracted to, a USB flash drive for example.

are you trying the @BIOS utility, or just running the executable? you may need to boot a livecd version of windows, like a hirens boot cd, to run it in a 32 bit environment

I try to do this but it says that the program is not up to date with your current version of windows because it is a 16x download. I have searched for hours and can not find a solution. Thanks.
