Question I believe my account was highjacked

While on my steam account I got a message saying I got a free CS:GO skin with a link, I clicked the link and it said use your steam login to get your skin, I put the login info in, and it said sorry try again later, and after that messages were coming from my account getting sent to all my friends with the same link, and it's so hard to get in contact with steam to explain the situation, I just don't know what to do, please help.

Alas, you trusted a bogus link, and gave away your login credentials, so naturally it did not take long to lock YOU out with a password change...

YoOu will have to go thru the lengthy verification process to recover/change passwords now that you do not have control over the password...

Yeah, I know it's just super unfortunate because all my games are on there, and were looking forward to playing them today, just worked a 12-hour shift yesterday
