I bent the power led - pin on my motherboard around 30degrees, does it still work?

I was connecting the front panel connectors. All that was left was the power led- connector left the pl+ was in. I couldnt get it in so i pressed hard and then i accidentaly slipped and bent the pin 90 degrees. I managed to straigthen it a little to around only 30 degrees. Does it still work or is it dead, can i fix it?

only you can know if it is broken or not


If the pin did not break off it is probably ok

If you can not bend the pin back to vertical you can not put the connecter on the pins

you may have to split the plastic cover which is over the metal tubes which form the led connectors

The bent pin was no problem at all as long as you can get the connector all the way inn, thanks for reply
