Question I bought a i7-3770 put in on my HP 1790 a C216 chipset board with a bios version of k51 v01.58 (02/07/2013)

It will get to startup but afterwards will have a black screen with white lines

I saw an ASROCK board the c216 WS that says it's compatible with the i7-3770 but the HP-1790 C216 in the intel website the i7-3770 is not listed but I've heard that HP documentation is bad so I did some more research bios is compatible with the i7-3770 and everything seems fine so am I missing something or just the i7-3770 I got is faulty ?

Got it to work turns out the black screen im seeing with the white specks is the gpu trying to accept the new CPU then after some updates its working now
