I bought a new computer

CyberpowerPC Gamer Xtreme 1030 Intel Core i5 750 (2.66GHz) 4GB DDR3 500GB NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.


I have a few questions about my investment.

whats is the first thing i need to do?

How do i transfer my security centre and antivirus to the new computer before i go online.

Should i make my old harddrive a slave drive on the new.

How do i keep it clean and unclutterd with crap.

So many questions and i know i have come to the right place.

Since the OS and drivers are already installed, the first thing you should do, is install your antivirus software. If you don't have one, there are some very good free ones. My personal recommendation is Avira

If you want to slave drive your old hard drive, you can do that. If you need help, let us know.

After Installing OS don't pay any money for any antivirus programs!

Download & Install the following 3 freewares. It forms a free complete security suite for your system!

I do not have much faith in These cleaners they seem to do more harm than good.
I have used them before and was told by a computer tech to keep away from them.

It's a very good multipurpose program. It's an effective disk optimizer and very good registry cleaner.

I'm using CCleaner! it gives me no problem!
Excellent tool! May be he mentioned some other tools not Ccleaner!

He is a tech for MDG i think it was call system mechanic.

System mechanic is a completely different program. I've used that in the past, and it's not great, but it's got some nice optimization features.
