Question I bought a new CPU Ryzen 5600g but it will not boot on my MSI A320M-A PRO MAX

Bought these two today and I cannot get it to boot into the bios so I can update it to the latest bios. I try to plug in my GTX 1650 Super so I can get anything to post into the bios but nothing. Do I need a compatible CPU into this motherboard first and get into the bios? I looked if this motherboard supports the 5600g at MSI's website and it says it does. Anyone can help?

It supports the motherboard, but it's extremely likely that you need a BIOS update to get it to run. You'll need a compatible CPU with this motherboard to do that.
