[SOLVED] I bought a new motherboard I can't take off these m.2 screws. Help?

Hello so I purchased a gigabyte z390 aorus pro, and I've sat here for hours trying to unscrew this, I've even tried pliers. Perhaps I'm not using the right screw driver? I just don't see why it would be this difficult and it's the only thing stopping me from using my PC. https://ibb.co/XFCVdbV

While the angle is odd, that does not appear to be an M.2 screw, at least not the one that you use to hold in a drive. It should be in a straight line perpendicularly away from the connector and be screwed into a standoff.
