It can't really run any triple-A games, but common shooters, indie games and such you can play at lower resolutions.

From what I can tell Intel HD 520 will perform about the same as an Nvidia 8800 GT or Radeon HD 3870. So older or less demanding games will run fine, but newer high end games will struggle. Check the hardware requirements of a game before you purchase it.

Also, what processor/CPU does it have? That will affect how certain games play.

if the new pc has a good cpu in it. i3 or faster and it has a video slot that open. then for cost of a gaming gpu and power supply you can upgrade it.
