So just like the title suggests. I bought myself a Thermaltake Commander FT Touchscreen Fan Controller so I can control my fans and have a cool little touchscreen attached to my PC. Problem is.

It came with a Thermometer to sensor heat in Celsius. Where is the best place to put it? my case is a Corsair 760T case and I currently have the sensor attached to my side case with some tape and its registering 22.8C (it is winter though) im in Australia. I don't know if this is a proper reading or not but I want to get as much of a positive reading as possible. Is this sensor meant to be for one thing only? like GPU or CPU or for the Whole computer? also where is the best place to put it on my case specificity

Nice, i thought about buying Commander FT for my Haswell build as well but i went with NZXT Sentry 3 instead.

As far as where to put that single temp sensor, that's up to you. Sentry 3 also has single temp sensor and i've wedged it between CPU heatsink fins to see how hot my Intel's stock CPU cooler gets.

For additional places where to put the temp sensor, here are few:
Spot #1: HDD
Spot #2: PSU
Spot #3: GPU heatsink
Spot #4: CPU heatsink
Spot #5: Ambient, internal
Spot #6: Ambient, external

Above list is actually temp sensor placements in my Skylake build. Since i have Thermaltake Commander F6 RGB in there, it came with 6x temp sensors. And i too have 760T V2 case just like you do. Full specs with pics in my sig.
