Question I bought a TP link 300mbps (TL-WN881ND) and after my computer doesn't boot, tried both slots

I have a Ryzen 5 with ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING motherboard, everything seems to be fine but I don't have wireless connectivity yet.

So I bought a TP link 300mbps (TL-WN881ND) wireless card, and after installing it the computer doesn't bootup.
I took it out and tried the other slot, same issue.

I am running Ubuntu 18, when the card is in the slot it just shows a black screen and doesn't load or beep.

Should I return the wireless card or there is more I can do to try and diagnos the issue?

Good call! It is recognized now.

BUT...now it I don't see my network. And manually entering the network and password it still fails. Must be a driver issue with Ubuntu.
