I bought a viewsonic "flatscreen" g90fb

but it seems instead of getting a display that was flat

i got just that, a flatscreen in front of the actual display

My father has an ibm monitor that has a plastic flatscreen/display

mine has a curve display and a glass screen about .25 inch - .5 inch
/ center to edge space between the glass and actual display

it is kindof like buying one of those glare guards only to realize that
it makes the eyes feel worse with a huge glass inbetween the display and
screen.

The only one difference between that glare gaurd and mine is that mine does
not come off.

I paid 230 for this thing and threw away the packaging/box for it already

I guess viewsonic is too cheap/has poor engeering design to actually
manufacture real flat screens

so they make curve screens then they put a huge space and a "flat" glass
and stick it in one package

that probably saves them some mnoney by manufactoring curve and
"flatscreen" monitors with one manufactoring setting. However, it
confuses constomers, ME, and makes me have trouble viewing my screen.

I hate you viewsonic.

You have to buy an aperature grill monitor if you want a true
flatscreen crt. NEC FE series is good.

You'll never do that again, will you?
