[SOLVED] I bought an Adata S70 Blade 2TB for my PS5 and I put the thin heatsink on it and now I can't get it off to replace it

Basically, I'm worried about the M.2 I paid a lot of money on overheating mainly due to the thin heatsink and also I put it on a bit crooked which I'm not sure if that will also mess up cooling it, I don't want to break it by trying to get it off as it cost me a lot of money to buy, is there an issue with buying the Sabrent PS5 cover that also has a heatsink or will that mess up the cooling even more if I lay that on top of the thin heatsink.

Nah, should be fine. SSDs don’t really need heat sinks anyway, it’s mostly just bling.

Incorrect. It can make a minor difference to peak data rate, which you won’t see outside of a synthetic benchmark.

They put heatsinks on SSDs for the same reason they put LEDs on sticks of RAM. Bling.
