[SOLVED] I bought an Akasa 6 Port Internal Card Reader [AK-ICR-07 intending to fit it to my PC containing MSI P67A-GD53 mother board

Unfortunately, the motherboard has no spare JUSP 2 connectors. I do have available a USB 3 connector so was hoping to use a 19 Pin USB 3.0 Female To 9 Pin USB2.0 Male Motherboard Cable Adapter Converter cable for the connection but do not know if that will work.

it should provided your USB3 header works. it is compatible with usb2 devices.
