I broke my phone's screen, how to copy data from the internal storage?

My phone is sony xperia Z2, i broke it and the touchscreen is not working, and i need the data on the internal storage.
All i have is a USB Cable but for the phone to connect to the PC i have to choose between
"Charge only" and "Transfer data" and i can't do that obviously.
P.S The phone is not rooted and the USB cable is not original.

then get the centre to transfer the data over, they should have a software that doesn't need touching your screen

Had the same issue once. then i remembered i had an OTG Cable and did what this guy did.

You can plug in a USB hub into the OTG and then plug in the mouse and USB Stick
